Dry Ice Blasting

Exceptional Results Meets Environmental Responsibility

National Warehouse Cleaning is proud to offer dry ice blasting services that offer maximal effectiveness without taking a toll on the environment. Since dry ice is simply solidified carbon dioxide, there is no residual debris leftover after the process; the dry ice simply sublimates directly into CO2 gas which is then pumped out of the building.

Dry ice blasting achieves the same results – if not better – as traditional cleaning processes that use toxic cleansers and hazardous solvents. We are proud to provide our clients with a way to make every inch of their warehouse shine with the knowledge that their actions haven’t damaged our environment.

Our Approach

Our trained technicians direct small pellets of dry ice through a pressurized air stream, and when released the technique achieves top-notch cleaning results for delicate electronics, motors and other areas of the structure not conducive to be cleaned with water.

Since dry ice is the solidified, frozen version of carbon dioxide, it melts when it makes contact with the warmer surface and imparts some of its gaseous qualities. The pellets rapidly expand and absorb into the surface, instantly loosening the unwanted surface materials. This process, called “thermal stress,” causes oil, dirt, debris, paint, and a spectrum of other adhesives to flake off more easily, yielding a superior result for your space. It can even be used around active electrical systems, providing added convenience and advantage to the cleaning process.

Dry ice blasting offer a clean, cost-effective, and efficient way to revitalize your space. The process doesn’t leave any residual debris or grit, and the final outcome is exceptional. Simple as that.

[fancy_header3 variation=”teal”]How We Use Dry Ice Blasting[/fancy_header3] We employ dry ice blasting to remove oil, dirt, contaminants, hazardous residue, paint, and a range of other substances from the interior and exterior surfaces of warehouses. National Warehouse Cleaning also utilizes the process to clean electric motors and high-voltage panels. The process can be used around live electrical systems without posing a fire risk or a threat to employees, making it ideal to clean those problem areas that have been neglected for years simply because you didn’t know how to approach it.

[fancy_header3 variation=”teal”]Why We Prefer Dry Ice Blasting[/fancy_header3] Why choose dry ice blasting over sand, water or steam blasting? Unlike sand blasting, our approach requires no cleanup of residual debris. It also achieves exceptional results without running the risk of inflicting permanent damage on the surface below the problem area. Both water and steam blasting requires a lengthy dry time and can sometimes leave behind moisture, which can result in an outbreak of mold or mildew. None of these are considerations when you choose dry ice blasting.

Long story short: You get better results with dry ice blasting, and you don’t run the risk of having to deal with collateral damage.

National Warehouse Cleaning can transform those “problem areas” into clean spaces using dry ice blasting. This method, which is as effective as it is environmentally responsible, offers unparalleled results that will efficiently restore the aesthetics and health of your warehouse.
